Stable – 2.6-kernel
The current stable 2.6-kernel based lunar ISO version is 1.6.5. Read the ChangeLog for a history of features.
The lunar ISO allows you to install lunar-linux on any i686 or higher x86 system (Including amd-64 and em64t machines in 64-bit mode using the x86_64 ISO) based PC that can boot from CD-ROM and is quite minimal. You might have to recompile your own kernel and setup networking (Driver sources are on the ISO). For more information on how to install lunar read the installation manual
